Hi Laura,
I heard you on KALX today (11:20PM, Sat.). Exciting! But A) the entro was so bad your band nor the song name didn’t come thru and B) the volume and quality of the recording was low. You should check to see what cd they have and check on the tech aspect of it. Great you are getting airplay!

My daughter was in San Francisco a couple of years ago and saw Foxtails Brigade playing for the public. She purchased La Nuit on the spot. At the time she was an art student at CCA, a special time in her life, and played your CD all of the time. When I heard the CD I was taken away with it. It is so beautiful! I went on your website and downloaded the album to my desk top. I also purchased two copies, one for my sister and one for a good friend.
When I received the CDs there was a note from you, Laura. I still have it.
Your music touches my spirit and brings me happiness. Today I purchased 2 CDs of The Bread and the Bait and look forward to getting them in the mail
I see you have upcoming events in Oakland and Santa Cruz, I plan to attend one of those and bring some friends. I hope to say hello
Best regards, and God bless you.
Kathy
Hello Kathy,
Thank you so much for the kind words. We are very glad that you have been so positively affected by what we do and hope to meet you someday.
Sincerely,
Foxtails Brigade
i saw two of you playing on telegraph around christmas. seeing you two playing such amazing, gorgeous music, and so committed to your art… was powerful. it made me cry (your the only group to ever to do that me!). the power and beauty of that moment and your music is… indescribable. hearing your music helped me get through a really hard time in my life, and reminded me that life can be beautiful. tonight i was feeling down, put on your cd, and was uplifted. what i want to say is thank you for the fuckin awesome music! im moved. keep up the good work. hope to say hi again someday.
Thank you. That means a lot to me. It’s hard to tell sometimes if what we do has any point, but when I get a message like yours, it makes me think maybe there is a point.
Sincerely,
Laura W.

It’s beautiful! As is your music, which I just discovered via the Ladies’ Month! Twenty-Five Women To Watch! article
