96 Hours and More

Foxtails Brigade has lately been busy playing shows around the Bay Area, and recently got the cover of the SF Chronicle’s 96 Hours Entertainment section! Before Anton and Laura of the band head off to Europe for September, they’ll be playing one last FREE show in Berkeley, headlining the main stage at the Last Sundays Festival on Telegraph Ave. Come say goodbye!

The Bread and the Bait and Stuff Like That

Okay, the website’s been up for a while and though “Yay we have a website, isn’t it cool” may have worked for the first couple of weeks, I reckon it’s about time for our first actual blog post.

A few things that need remarking: first, a big THANKS again to everyone who participated in and attended our debut CD release show on April 17th. The evening was very special and will un-questionably be remembered…FOREVER.  We’re really looking forward to when photographer Riki Feldman comes home from his tour with Judgement Day so we can see all the awesome photos and videos he caught from the show. But for now, here’s a pretty sweet video that our friends from the Bay Area band Ladies and Gentleman posted:

Second, we want to bring to the attention of  all the folks who have purchased and/or checked out our new album The Bread and the Bait, a crucial piece of information that was unfortunately left off of the inside credits during the lengthy and multi-handed process of editing: the Producer credit which belongs to Dave Reep.

Reep, who is also president of Third Culture Records was extremely important and involved in the making of this album and it was not without his extremely hard work and devoted faith in Foxtails Brigade that this album could have been made. So to Dave Reep, we are really and truly sorry for this typographical error and want you to know how sincerely thankful we are for all your help, hard work, and friendship.

Other news: Foxtails Brigade will be doing a mini west coast tour in May which extends up to Seattle. All confirmed dates are posted on the TOUR page as well as our Facebook page. Okay, that’s about it for now. Hope everyone is as pumped as we are about the arrival of spring and soon enough… SUMMER! (which means lots of golden hour-type stuff)

Wow! We Have a website! Isn’t it cool?
